Stavely & District Agricultural Society:  The Stavely & District

Agricultural Society operates the local Stavely Arena.  The arena

holds many events year round and is an important part of Stavely.


B.P.O. Elks Lodge #112:  Outside of the large cities, the Elks #112 

Lodge boasts the largest membership in Canada and has been in 

operation in Stavely since 1925.  Their motto is “Promoting &

Supporting Community Needs”.  Visit the Elks website to find out

Independent Order of Odd Fellows: The Independent Order of Odd Fellows

Lodge was established in the Town of Stavely in 1907. Beaver Lodge #27

meets on the first Thursday of the month at the Stavely Community Hall.

O.O.R.P. Lodge #99:  The members of Royal Purple of Canada 

focus primarily on the promotion and support of community needs

across Canada through Local and National Programs.  


Fern Leaf Rebekah Lodge #36:   The Rebekah Lodge #99 was started

in 1927.  Due to lack of membership, the lodge was forced to close on 

December 2016, however, members are more than welcome to join with

other members at the Fern Leaf Rebekah Lodge #36.  New members are

always welcome.   


Stavely Golden Age Centre:  A large facility that caters to the seniors

of Stavely and surrounding area.  The Centre features a billiard table, 

hosts special events, dinners and a host of weekly and monthly programs.

The programs include exercise, casino trips, movie night, crafts and card

Museum Society of Stavely & District:  The society operates the Stavely

& District Museum.  


Stavely Indoor Rodeo Association:  This society handles the immensely

popular annual Stavely ProRodeo.


Stavely Community Chest:  Stavely’s Community Chest collects donations

for distribution to various charities.  This eliminates the necessity for 

these charities to canvas door to door.  Donations can be left at the 

Stavely ATB Financial Agency or mailed to Community Chest, Box 249, 

Stavely.  In 2016, Stavely’s Community Chest contributed to 19 different

charities.

United Church Women:  United Church Women meet on the last

Wednesday of every month except December, July and August.  They

Meet for fellowship and study.

Stavely Youth Hall:  Thanks to the support of the Stavely Recreation

Board and Town of Stavely this building remains open for various

youth activities in town.
