TAX NOTICE: Council & Administration have worked very hard to ensure a minimal increase to the residents and businesses of the Town of Stavely despite significant economic pressures from inflation, reduced provincial operational funding and increasing policing & emergency costs. The overall Mill Rate did decrease this year!

Residential assessments have been raised substantially this year both in Stavely and surrounding areas.  This increase is due to market activity over the past 3 years from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2023.  The market over the three years has risen 23% on average.  

Increase of 13% (7.12 M) in Residential Assessments:

The Non-Residential assessments have increased but the former SugarBud facility has been lowered by 43% to account for the lack of utility a vacant, purpose-built property presents.

Decrease of 3% (1.37 M)  Non Residential Assessments:

UPDATED GARBAGE BYLAW: Please review the newly updated Garbage Bylaw. The new bylaw includes spring and fall clean-up specifications, clarification of permitted and prohibited garbage and much more information. If you have any questions please contact the Town of Stavely.
