OXLEY MANOR

Oxley Manor, in Stavely, Alberta is part of the Government of Alberta’s Seniors self-contained housing program, providing apartment-style housing to seniors who live independently. Oxley Manor consists of six one-bedroom units, a shared laundry and a common gathering area. Mosquito Creek Foundation (Nanton, Alberta) manages Oxley Manor on behalf of the Government of Alberta. A tenant’s rent, includes heat, water and sewer expenses, is based on 30% of a households adjusted income. Rent does not include electricity, phone, TV or any additional services such as parking. STAVELY ARENA

Our arena has skating and recreation hockey programs during the winter months. After the ice is taken out the cement surface is cleaned and ready for rentals! The Outdoor arena hosts the annual Stavley Pro Rodeo, Stavely Horse Show & Amateur Rodeo, 4-H Horse Club and the Glen Keeley Memorial Bull Riding! Both indoor and outdoor facilities are available to rent.

STAVELY & DISTRICT MUSEUM

The Stavely & District Museum opened in 1989.  The museum was closed for two years while being renovated.  The museum houses a wonderful selection of museum pieces from the town and surrounding area.

ARCHERY LANES

Located in the old curling rink, the lanes see more than 40 shooters at tournaments.  There are youth programs available as well.  For full information, please visit the archery lanes at www.stavelyarchery.club

MUNICIPAL LIBRARY

The Stavely Municipal Library is located in the Stavely Elementary School and is a public library serving patrons within the Chinook Arch Region which includes 32 additional libraries. We also serves as a School Library. Along with books, the library has a good collection of videos and DVD’s for the whole family. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Stavely’s Elementary School educates children from Kindergarten to Grade Six.  The community of Stavely believes that all youth have the potential to become responsible citizens who will contribute towards making our world a great place.  For further information, please go to Home | Stavely School.

RV CAMPGROUND

Fifteen fully serviced sites are available.  The campground has on-site showers, water, power and toilet facilities during the summer season, which runs from the May long weekend to October.  Fees are payable in a drop box or at the Town Office during office hours.  No reservations are required, the campground operates on a first come, first served system.  Fees are $30.00 per day.  Weekly and monthly rates are available, for further information regarding rates or any other questions, please contact the Town Office at 403-549-3761 during office hours.

GOLDEN AGE CENTER

A large facility that caters to the seniors of Stavely and surrounding area. The Center features a pool table, hosts special events, dinners and weekly and monthly programs such as crib, pool, shuffleboard, casino trips, crafts etc. To rent out the facility click here and bring paperwork to center or call us at 403-549-3933

BALL DIAMOND

An excellent community ball diamond is located east of the golf course.  Other ball diamonds are located at the Stavely Elementary School.

               

Stavely Youth Hall 

The Stavely Youth Hall has a small committee which continues to ensure the Youth Hall is kept in good working operation. Over the years different youth programs have been offered. Currently some of the programs offered are Sky-Anna School of Highland Dancers, FCSS Playschool and SUCH Drama. The Hall is also available for private functions such as parties, 4H, music recitals and more. The Youth Hall continues to rely on donations from local groups to pay overhead costs.
